Sally-Ann Spence

In September, Sally-Ann Spence - science educator and founder of the Berrycroft Hub in Ashbury, treated us to an amazing "hands-on" presentation of a timeline of history from the Stone Age to the Roman era, including the intriguing world of Bronze Age hoards.
Using a combination of real and reproduction artefacts (all created using original techiniques), Sally-Ann created a time line of human history and its technological advances.
Sally-Ann is an informed and engaging science educator, presenter, entomologist, ecologist and farmer in her own right who has spent many years enthusing children and adults alike with all the wonders of the natural world. She also has a lifelong interest in humanities with a curiosity cupboard taking centre space in every room and several archaeological sites on her farm.
You can find out more about Berrycroft Hub and the courses that it offers at their website.
