Nearby Amenities

Due to the size of the museum, we are unable to provide refreshments or toilet facilities ourselves. However there are cream teas at St Mary’s Church, next door to the museum, on Sunday afternoons from June to the end of September, 2.30pm to 5.00pm.

Uffington has a welcoming pub, the Fox and Hounds.

Uffington’s Post Office and General Stores, adjacent to the Memorial Hall, is open every day. The uffington.net web site shows their opening hours: Uffington shops and services

Other pubs in nearby villages are

    the White Horse at Woolstone
the Blowing Stone at Kingston Lisle
    the Woodman at Fernham
the Rose & Crown at Ashbury
Wantage and Faringdon each have a full range of local services.
